1. Cookies and similar technology
Cookies are small items of information stored on or read from your device. Similar technology includes the browser’s local storage.
2. Strictly necessary technology only
We use only cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested (section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG): sign-in, session management, ordering, language setting and remembering your choice in the cookie notice. No consent is required for these. The related processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
3. No analytics or marketing technology
We use no analytics, tracking or marketing technology and embed no third-party content that sets cookies when a page loads. Fonts are loaded from our own server.
4. Cookies and storage we use
All of the following are set by Löwenbuch (LoewenKI) itself and are not shared with third parties.

Our network provider Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (__cf_bm, 30 minutes) to protect against automated attacks. It is used only to tell people from automated traffic; our Privacy Notice has the details.
5. Cookie notice
We run the cookie notice ourselves, without a third-party provider. When you confirm it, we store your choice with its time and IP address on our server as evidence. You can reopen the notice at any time through “Cookie Settings” in the website footer.
6. Browser controls
You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, the language setting or ordering.
